10 Months: Dec. 25th - Jan. 24th
December 25th - Ella turned 10 months on Christmas Day! We spent Christmas in Santa Barbara with the Huberts, Hammorks, and Great Grandma Beverly. Kimberly also came over for a short visit! Ella must have been a good girl this year because Santa brought her a duckie, and a Little People Fun Park!
December 29th - According to Daddy, Ella had been doing this for awhile, but Ella definitely said dog (without the g) about a yellow lab today. We sat her down next to a friend's dog, and she said her version of dog (which sounds like "duh"). Also, Ella had fun at Lake Los Carneros feeding the ducks today. December 31st - Ella celebrated New Year's Eve a little early. She enjoyed playing with the noisemakers before going to bed at 10:00 pm! January 2nd - Ella enjoyed watching her first Rose Parade the day after New Year's Day. January 7th - Ella slept in until 10:00 am and woke up with a 103.5 fever, which she continued to have all day. She also took a long 3 hour nap. Poor sick baby! January 13th-16th - Ella had a special visit from Papa, Grammy, Auntie Lindsay, and Uncle Chip. She even got a brand new hat from Auntie Lindsay! January 19th - Ella was sick again. She had to leave day care early because she had her first "real" (non spit-up) throw-up and another fever. January 21st - While getting dried off from her bath, Ella pulled her towel over her face and quickly pulled it away. She figured out how to play peek-a-boo all on her own! We kept playing over and over and over... again until Mommy got tired. She loves peek-a-boo, but this was the first time she was the one to "hide" and she had a blast! January 22nd - Ella went to the doctor and found out that she had a double ear infection, which led to a double eye infection. Despite being so sick the past few days, Ella was still in high spirits. What a trooper!! January 24th - I got to go out to eat for Auntie Kimberly's birthday! While we were out, I ordered my first "meal" out at a restaurant. Daddy ordered me some macaroni and cheese. I ate some, saved some, and threw some on the floor. Mommy actually ate more of it than I did! Yum, yum!! |
